Pushing Buttons

Listen to your heart above all other voices. – Martha Kagan

Ok now really, someoneeee is truly trying to test our limits here. The damn fire alarm went off at 4am this morning when I was in a peaceful sleep! The hrs I have to sleep here are sooo limited and to be woken up by this torturous fire alarm that goes off for a good 8 minutes or so in 4 different langues and a huge array of bells and dings and whistles is just nuts. This hotel is mad. Since we have been here the alarm has gone off at night at least 5 times. And thats not counting when it goes off during the daytime too! Yikes. God forbid their is actually a real emergency, we wont believe it bcs we hear the alarms so much when theirs nothing! I swear Bikram must be paying the hotel to torture us with the alarm during the night to test our limits. haha.

And the elevators here are super wacky too. Some days one works and than they shut the elevator down for week spans to fix it. Theirs one that always stops on every floor when you go up or down, sometimes an elevator will just skip over a floor completely or it will be going up and than start going down. Voodoo. A girl in my group 6 was like theirs some type of weird spirits in this hotel. Hahaha. We were joking they sent all us 300 yogis here for the spiritual good vibes we can bring to cleanse it. Haha.

Anyway thats the latest excitement here. thats besides the world wind of dialouge and posture clinic going on. We are up to delivering 2 -3 postures a day to 'ger er done'. 2 weeks left here and only about 7 or so postures left! They want us to finish with dialogue by next Friday so we have the last week open for long lectures and the talent show and other random stuff. Loving that its Friday but I have a long day ahead of me. 2 dialogues to memorize and deliver today, 1 more evening yoga class and than sat. yoga class. than the wknd is all mine! Ok and more studying over the wknd but def will rest a bit on the beach to give my mind a little break. I have been memorizing at warp speed. Pretty exciting how fast I can pick up the dialogue now but its exhausting at the same time. Have a great wknd! Aloha! *sarah
