Week 1

"Be glad of life, because it gives you the chance to love and to work and to play and to look up to the stars; to be satisfied with your possessions; to despise nothing in the world except falsehood and meanness, and to fear nothing except cowardice; to be governed by your admirations rather than by your disgusts; to covet nothing that is your neighbor's except his kindness of heart and gentleness of manners; to think seldom of your enemies, often of your friends…and to spend as much time as you can, with body and with spirit. These are the little guideposts on the footpath to peace." – Henry Van Dyke

Wow am I in Hawaii???

I wouldn't know it at all if the bathroom nearby lecture wasnt located outside next to the outdoor barrrrr or the garden with waterfalllll or palm treessss. Ah. Can not wait for the wknd to get some sun. Um yeah obviously I am not hear to beach it 24/7 but it's funny we have only been at training for what 4 days and it feels like a month already. Same repetitive schedule. Haha Lord I am gonna go nuts the next 2 months if I dont do something real exciting on the wknds to get me by :) I get bored easy. So schedule is falling into this pattern: Get up at 6am so we can have a light breakfast and wake up a bit, class at 830am, lunch for an hour. That means race to the elevator to get to the front of the line, shower and hang sweaty clothes on balcony, shove food in mouth and right about a minute or 2 when i get nice and relaxed go back down to yoga room for another lecture, drink lots of water during the lecture to hydrate and try not to run out and pee bcs Bikram doesnt like that, have another yoga class, shower/food, return to yoga room for another lecture/posture clinic. Repeat for 60 more days. hehe.

Busy busy. Heck I would do this though for the rest of my life rather than work haha. Loving going to two yoga classes a day and just learningggg so much in the lectures and clinics!! I can not wait to grow from this experience! We started posture clinic today. Its gonna take several days to get through everyone doing the first dialogue for Half moon. Jess and I honestly did try to jump up and get in the first line to go this afternoon but people were faster than us. That is gonna be nerve racking. Reciting the first posture in front of Bikram 315 other people. Will let you know how it goes! Its nice bcs now I have more time to learn the next postures to get a tiny bit ahead.

Hmm what else? My calves are hurting a lot today since this morning. Wish i had my personal massuse here with me. Today I am thrilledddd to say I did my very first double! 2 yoga classes in one day. Yae! I have wanted to do one for ages when I was at the Westfield Studio but I either hurt my foot or something kept me away from doing one. It was rainy here this morning and I have been wearing sweats over my yoga gear quite often lately. Um I am in Hawaii? I just imagined it was suppose to be real warm here all the time. Nights get cool. Its actually perfect weather bcs I love getting all cozy in my sweats. God this is so exciting for someone to be reading all this. You must be one bored individual. Hehe.

Some of the mirrors look like they are coming off the walls again at this evenings yoga class. the screws or whatever they used to adhere them are semi working. Im sure someone will have that fixed tonight. Bikrams class tonight was a bit tougher and he def doesnt hold anything back when he speaks to someone about perfecting their posture...You in the pink, fat girl! Hey boy in the white bikini with all the ugly tatoos.... Ha at least people prepped me for what he is like. Its jsut his personality. Cant take it personally. K Jess is waiting for me. Heading to late night posture clinic. Later * Sarah
