What a wonderful Hawaiian wknd!
Woke up early for Saturday mornings class than after class we walked down to the beach and soaked our bodies for 15 mins in the salty sea water with a bunch of other yogis. What a great feeling after a workout. Went back to our room and had some lunch and than hit the beach for the rest of the day. Finally got some color on my pasty skin! The water was beautiful and it was soooo relaxing knowing we had 2 days straight with no time restrictions at all.

My throat has been soar the past couple days in the mornings and evenings. Ugh. Now my nose is all snotty in the mornings too. I think its just allergies bcs my body isnt achy or tired and during the day I'm fine. I'm trying to get to the medical clinic here to make sure its nothing else and I am not responsible for getting 300 other people sick. Such a pain trying to get in touch with my doctor to have him fax the clinic. Insurance is such a hassle!

Ewww cockroaches in HI. We were at a Food Market and a cockroach ran in from the outside thru the sliding door. I freaked out. The thing was huge and all the people online were doing was laughing and going about their business letting the thing run around near their feet and by the cash register. Ew. Why doesnt someone step on it and kill it? So on our way back to the hotel we saw a ton of em outside crawling on the sidewalk. So gross. I hate bugs!

Also saw 3 cats on our way home from the super market....aw!!! I miss the zoo back at my house. 3 cats and our doggy. Anyhoo, had some good food this wknd. Dinner Friday night at the Hawaii 24/7 Diner, ha. Was fun bcs we saw 2 yogi guys on line (I was wearing green, one of the guys were wearing green - gotta wear it when u can. Bikram doesnt allow the color green - more on that later) so we all had dinner together and got to know them, on the other side of our partion were 2 other yogi guys. We all see each other everywhere. Ha. That was our crazy Friday night. Cant go out drinking the 2 months we are here, nor do I have the energy right now.

Saturday night we went to a steakhouse near the hotel. Hmm exactly like a Benihana at home. I thought it was more a sushi bar type place but not so much. Oh well. Funny thing is theirs a Benihana here literally around the corner from the steakhouse. Jess joked they share the same kitchen. Our chef was really nice. Asked how many days we were staying in town. Haha. So fun saying, oh 2 months. haha. Sat with some local Hawaiian people. Everyone here is sooo nice!

Checked out China town today. Not so exciting. Some fresh fruits and veggies were a little cheaper than the super market. The bus lines here are great, can get anywhere for 2 bucks! Gorgeous weather to walk around in! Gotta go take a nap to recharge and than study my dilogue for the upcoming week. Luke is teaching Monday mornings class. Cant wait to see what his style is like.
