"Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart." - unknown
We saw our first rainbow this morning! So beautiful! Arrived early for class so we took a walk around the marina next to the ocean and Jess and I thought of Marina. Awww. Hope your surviving over there at work chicky. :)
So than we learned morning class was cancelled. Some of the mirrors starting falling off the walls after last nights class due to the heat and not giving the mirrors enough time to adhere to the walls during last minute construction of the studio. They had a crew come in and fix them all so theirs no issues or liability in the future. We had a nice morning off, walked to Walmart and picked up a bunch of things we needed.
Had another Bikram lecture late in the day, more introductions from fellow students. Such incredible stories and inspiration! Also listened to Rajashree speak. She is sooo great. I think her voice is so soothing it started to put me to sleep towards the end.
Ended the evening with a great yoga class with Bikram. He will be here the rest of this week and all of next, than will pop in and out throughout training. He plays different tracks from his CD for us at the end of the class during Savasanah - I gotta say he sounds like a karaoke singer. Ha.
So far this week has been pretty laid back. We are just easing into things as well as the staff feeling things out with the new studio environment. Im sure hell will hit next week and only get more challening. So far the biggest challenges really are nothing to write about...but I will. :) The elevators here are sooooo slow. Its always a race to get into one before it gets too packed with over 315 people in class and also other people in the hotel. Aye! Also I would say the ratio of woman to men is crazy. Probably 50 men here and the rest woman. Bathroom breaks. ahhaahahhahahahahahha. Thats all I have to say. Gonna go study dialogue and off to bed. 4:51am in NJ, 10:51pm here. Hmm took about 3 days to adjust to the time difference. Not bad.
Oh here are a couple new pictures from training and stuff: http://www1.snapfish.com/share/p=452181176884127491/l=262724741/g=4168081/otsc=SYE/otsi=SALB
Just taking advantage of a little relax time I have now to journal and send photos bcs I wont have anyyyy free time pretty soon. I need to adjust to focusing soley on myself and detaching from the outside world for a little while. Tricky.
