Bikrams Back...

I beg you…to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. Don't search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without ever noticing it, live your way into the answer… - Rainer Maria Rilke

Hello hello! Bikrams back in town! At the end of yoga class on Friday evening he stuck his head in to say hello. He than lectured us Friday evening till midnight. Thought he would keep us later but he was easy on us. My Tree and Toe dialogue went well. I was frustrated bcs I felt real confident about those 2 postures and delivering them but one of the 6 teachers reviewing us (sooo many visiting teachers hear helping out! Its great) was Lyn from the Funky Door Studio in CA. We cna really learn a lot form her but when she began the posture clinic for the evening she had lots of rules to lay down before we began. No cheers, no talking, no food/drinking if its loud and disturbs her...she jsut made the tone of the room real serious and so a lot of us got nervous up there bcs she was being so strict. I felt I couldve done better if I didnt let that get to me. I was happy I spoke up and said something to her after I went though. I told her I was nervous bcs of the tone she set the room in and that cheering as cheesy or annoying as it might be really sets us all at ease and makes it light hearted in the room. So she agreed on cheering every 5th person. haha. Glad I spoke up though. I didn't deliver any dialogue on Friday. By Fridays my brain is usually fried and I can't absorb as much dialogue as quickly. Monday I will give my Wind Removing Posture, the floor series goes pretty fast! I cant beleive we will be done with dialogue in 2 weeks!!! Than we have one last week after its complete to listen to Bikram lectures and take classes.

We are going to have a 'Talent' show on Friday, June 8th to have some fun. Should be interesting. They do this every training. Sort of get to know people more than just in yoga. theirs a lot of talented people here. When we introduced ourselves during the first week here their was someone who is a professional opera singer, some actors, ski instructors, harpists, teachers, corp. job people, glass blower, nurses and medical people. Just so many different walks of life. So the talent show will be cool to see and learn some more about each other. I don't really like getting up in front of crowds but still think it might be fun to be a part of the cheesiness. Jess and I mighttt take part in this idea a friend of ours Rob has. Will explain the skit he has in his head later if we go through with it. :)

So I just got back from Hanauma Bay! A bunch of us went snorkeling. Wow! It's beautiful at this bay! I mean all of Hawaii is gorgeous but this bay is maintained so well, it's a protected marine life conservation area. The fish are sooo colorful and so many different types and sizes. They are so tame and unfazed by all these humans swimming around. Incredible! I took lots of fun pictures so see the end of the entry for the link. A little history, the bay floor is actually the crater of an ancient volcano that flooded when the exterior wall collapsed and the ocean rushed in!

Just ordered a burger from Outback Steakhouse a block away. Yum!!! Craving meat and a good meal. Jess and I are renting a car tomorrow and heading to Costco a few miles away to do one final big food shopping excursion to tide us over the last several weeks. Hopefully save some money that way. I am already so over budget but hey this is a once in a lifetime experience being here. Might as well eat well too. Ha. Probably will add some other fun events to our list tomorrow while we have a car. I havent driven in over a month! How nuts! Hmm maybe we should get the extra rental insurance when we get this car. Haha. Gonna go pick up my burger from Outback and than take a nice like Savasanah oh I mean nap. :)

Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Wknd! More soon! *sarah
