Trust the Process....

Walk in the rain, smell flowers. stop along the way, build sandcastles, go on field trips, find out how things work, tell stories, say the magic words, trust the universe. - Bruce Williamson

What a week! Posture Clinic warp speed. Thank goddd its the wknd! Not that I don't have yoga class Saturday morning and also a make up Yoga class Sunday morning damn it but at least my brain can relax a little and process all the info from the week. My mind is on overdrive!

Got a nice 10 hrs of sleep last night - Saturday. Yes! Memorized Balancing Stick Posture last night. Weird how some are so much easier to memorize than others. Um yeah I still only know 2 paragraphs of Bow Pulling Pose. Ha. Mind you that posture is before Balancing Stick. Gonna get my butt back to that one right after this journal entry. That posture wasnt coming to me as easily as the Balancing Stick. I just pretended it didnt exist yesterday. Ha. Later this evening I'm meeting with my group in the lobby to have a study session together. Hopefully that will be the final stage in getting these 2 postures in my head when I recite them in front of the bodies. I'd like to memorize 2 more today if I can so I am really prepared this week and dont have to stay up all hrs. like last week. That fried my brain!

This past Friday we got the best news after our Friday evening class...the rest of the evening off! Hahahhaah you shouldve heard everyone going crazy cheering in savasana. It was like we were given the best gift in the world! What a couple of free mindless hrs will do for a yogi though. It was much appreciated! I made a nice yummy dinner and watched some tv and went to bed early. It felt great. During the week we don't have time to turn the tv on and touch base with reality. I am having less and less time to journal during the week too.

Just about half way through training!! I month to go once we hit this Wednesday! Wahoo.

Friday nights yoga class was fun at the end, besides hearing no posture clinic in the evening, it was someones birthday. Evevryyy day here is someones birthday (my favorite thing to celebrate) and this guy brought in a giant beach ball to throw around the room so everyone could touch it and send love. What a fun fun idea! So many people in the room, it felt like when you go to a Football game or other sports event and the beach ball goes around. A couple days before that was this girls birthday and she has had so much energy and not being able to sleep at night so she baked 700 cookies to share with everyone! Ohmigod! It was really nice of her.

Rajashree is going to be here this coming week! So excited. She adds a great energy to things. She will be lecturing us on the medical benefits of each posture. So excited to be getting a small break from the long hrs in posture clinic but also really interested in learning precisely which posture helps which area of the body!

Sundays yoga makeup class...errrrr. It was actually not so bad. Small class which reminded me of being back at the home town studio. Actually being able to see my face in the mirror, not as hot and humid in the room. Different vibe than the normal 300 people per class yoga room.

So far on the wknds I get out and relax on the beach at least one day. Its so calming! And I am able to renergize my tan for the week. Its hard to do much studying out on the beach though, 2 draining and hard for me to focus. I use it as my little wknd break from things and much deserved time off. A bunch of people were going hiking this wknd. Sounded like so much fun! Still trying to balance out study time and catching up on the wknds with having any long amounts of time to do activities. I figure when I have the whole week off at the end of training when we travel to Kauai I will have plenty of time for relaxing. Right now the beach and pool is a nice break from the yoga week :) Jess and I wanna at least try to get to Pearl Harbor while we are here and I'm hoping the North Shore too! Maybe the last wknd? Some people even flew to Maui this wknd! How they have time to memorize dialogue and have fun like that I don't know! I have the hardest time balancing the 2.

Anyhoo working hard over here! Dialogueeeeee, memorizing, pushing myself in yoga class! Keeping the energy strong. I feel a little recharged having some time to relax and sleep this wknd. My bad foot has been hurting the littlesttttt bit. I think it misses my attention. Ha. Gonna ice it daily, focus on putting my weight through the whole foot, not towards one side, and will wear good shoes when I do have shoes on - which is rare around here. Alrighty back to studying errrrrr! Here are some new pics: http://www1.snapfish.com/share/p=534131179106782965/l=266732314/g=4168081/otsc=SYE/otsi=SALB

I don't know how you do it girl. I 'm getting tired just reading about how active you're being :) At least you're getting some time to relax on the weekends. Are you guys near Diamond Head? That could be a fun, yet not too strenuous hiking activity.
