Week 6! Group 6! Wahoo!

Aloha! Week 6! Yes. Well almost the end of the week but I never have time lately to keep up with journaling. So we are on Tree Pose and Toe Stand in Posture Clinic. These 2 postures we do together. Next is the floor series!!! Wahoo. I held off yesterday on delivering the dialogue bcs I didnt feel like I was ready. haha. A bunch of people this time mustve felt that way bcs this is the first time no one jumped up or formed a line to deliver dialogue. They almost had to start picking people out of the group to go up. Fortunately their were some nice people who volunteered to deliver their dialogue even though it was a little slow and not perfect. I don't think any of us had much time to study this one. Things are moving faster. Anyway its amazing how a night of sleep lets the dialogue melt into your brain. Sort of absorbs it and it all flows better. I think I will do ok delivering it tonight!

Anyhoo don't you wanna know about the latest Sarah ailments? I had pink eye in my right eye as of last Sunday night, its just now about cleared up and I have this red circle which looks like a big inflammed bug bite slash rash circle on my left arm. Whyyyyy do I always get all these weird things? I have some type of freaky thing in my body that attracts oddities like this. Well it could be a lot worse. At least they are small ailments and clear up fairly quickly. Jess doesn't seem to run across any problems. So unfair. Ha.

We had a nice last wknd. Saturday class was hot hot hot. Its more the humidity that makes it killer. Walked down to the beach and soaked the body in some nice salt water and did some sea glass collecting. I feel like I already said this, hmm, sorry if I am repeating myself. Than we went shopping at the mall here. Great stores. The 2nd floor of the mall is like the short hills mall. Too funny. BUt actually has some cooler stores than short hills has. Still cant afford any of em. Oh I keep forgetting to say this, those Croc shoes are soooo popular here! Everyone has them and they sll em in a zillion colors. I have the Croc knock off Walmart brand flip flops to wear in the ocean when its rocky. I didn't realize they were mimicked after the Croc brand. Ha. Anyway so we went shopping at the mall and picked up a yummy salad from California Kitchen. Yum. Love that place. Came back and relaxed at our place and pretended like I was gonna study my dialogue bcs it didnt happen. Sunday we got up early and hiked Diamond Head with our friend Christy who is from California. Shes really sweet. Anyhoo it was 6am when we got up. Ahh torture but so glad we did get up that early bcs their were so many people hiking down when we got there to hike up. Yikes! The hike wasnt too tough but I guess it was a bit of an incline at the end with all the stairs bcs. by the time I reached the top I was soaked like I was at a yoga class. Cant escape the sweat. The views at the top were so worth it though! Beautiful postcard picture perfect views. I took a bunch of pics you can check out at the end of the journal entry. Christy had to be back by 9am to head to the North Shore with a bunch of people, she was quite adventurious doing multiple things in one day! I am always afraid I wont get time in for studying dialogue but end up procrastinating most of the wknd anyway, ha. So Jess and I went on a walking adventure around Oahu. From Diamond Head the Honolulu Bikram Yoga Studio was a mile away. I have seen some people wearing some cool tank tops from there and wanted to pick some up. We headed that way and spent a nice chunk of money. Next door was this sort of hippy/zen looking store so we decided to check it out. Weirdest thing, ok so the store ends up being this voodoo, tarot card, palm reading places that sells all related things. Jess and I are jsut like waht did we walk into. So we are walking around and literally 30 seconds into being there my right eye begins to itch like i have never had that feeling before. I jsut wanted to rub the heck out of my eye....so anyway that is when I got pink eye. Told my sister this story and seh laughed and said they put a curse on me, hence the pink eye. Dunno what was in the air there but it irritated my one eye enough to make it all icky for a good bunch of days this week. K, so after the yoga studio and voodoo place we headed back towards our hotel which was quite far away. Jess has her handy tomtom here navigating us on our walking tour. It directs us in the most round about way to get back to home. Aye. We now are familiar with all the ins and outs of around town I feel like. We got back to our street at least 4 hrs later. Walking. In the morning on the way to Diamond Head I couldnt help but notice a CRAFT SHOW being set up in a park 10 mins away from where we were. Ahhh. I can not resist a craft show! So excited. It filled my crafdt needs while I have been away for sure! I miss the baking, crafting side of me a little bit lately. So we hiked over there and also grabbed a bus for the tail end of our long day trip. Great Hawaiian crafters at the show. I bought a real cool necklace and had to resist buying more bcs I would never fit it all in my suitcase! We checked out the Waikiki Zoo next door to the craft show. Didnt end up going in but saw some pink flamingoes through the gate and walked through the gift shop. Fun fun. Sooo by the time we got home Sunday we were wiped out! My great plan, study dialogue on the bed. Haha. 2 hrs later I woke up and studied for real. Nice wknd! Def didnt leave me super rested to start another week of yoga. Ha

This week they seem to be easing up on the heat in the yoga room for us. Well teachers are shutting the heat off halfway through class or cracking the door open which we all love. Not that it gets that cool at allll but it brings a little fresh air iinto the room so we can actually breath! We had a lecture today by this guy Jon Burras on Fascia and Medical stuff. Really interesting. Some of it I need to digest and decide how much I believe in his opinions on things. Tomorrow Bikram comes back to town! No green. People have been wearing it a lot the past couple weeks to get it out of their system. Ha.

This wknd on Saturday we are gonna go snorkeling with a bunch of people after class. Only 17 bucks!! Should be fun! I think the rest of the wknd maybe just beach/pool it to get some color and relax. Oh and study. Can't believe its Memorial wknd! We don't get anytime off :( Sort of figured that though. Time is really flying by now. Can not believe how far I have come here. Only a few more weeks left! Than the real vacation begins!! Can not wait! Just found out Unjung is def. coming to vacation with Jess and I the last week we are here. Can not be more excited she is coming to visit and hang out! Unjung is planning to come a day or so before graduation so she will be here to see us at the big event. Ha. That will be nice having a friend there.
