Aloha! Wow class is getting so humid lately. Its hard to breath in there! I think the heaters they added are making more humidity instead of heat. I have been staying in the back row this week so I can adjust. At last nights class (Jim taught) I have never sweat more in my life. When I was doing Separate Leg Stretching Pose I couldnt help but break my concentration and notice the water dripping down from my head was at such a steady stream it could be compared to a dripping faucet but prob even faster still. Crazy how much a body can sweat. I have been taking my Electrolyte pills regularly now. My body has been tired in class. Gotta try and push through it. Also eat more veggies so my body has fuel! Waiting for the elevator after class last night everyone seemed to be saying the same thing. Hottest and most humid class yet and everyone was feeling it, either dizzy or dehydrated.
Emmy left today. I loved her classes. Bikram taught this morning. The things that come out of his mouth. They just make me laugh. He is pretty entertaining although he just repeats a lot of the sameeeee lines. Its like he has a continual reel and he hits play...Good things come in...small packages....pulling is the object of....stretching. He is def beating the info into our head :)
Last night at evening lecture a bunch of instructors from all over came in to say hello. Some of them will be teaching us classes and others will be helping with posture clinic. We are finally breaking up into small groups today. Group 6 - Yodell!! Craig lectured us and went through the 2nd part of Half Moon to give us more tips and advice when we get into posture clinic. He is amazing with how much detail he offers each person, his expansive vocabulary, and constant humor. He keeps things fun.
We had our first Anatomy test yesterday afternoon. So so easy really. I passed. Yae! Next and last one is this coming Monday. This wknd is Cinco De Mayo. Jess and I are trying to find some fun activities in the area. Kind of tough since we arent allowed to drink while we are here. Isn't Cinco De Mayo all about drinking? I'm anxious to go to the North Shore one day soon to check out the waves and surfing!
Okay 20 minutes before Anatomy class. Gonna go get a Gatorade downstairs and try and wake up a little more! Tired today. We had lecture last night till 11:45pm. Not so bad but I guess my body is still tired. Cant predict one day from the next here or even one class to another!
